Statement of Case:
Doug Wiggs and Barbara Wiggs reside in Sioux City, Iowa. On November 24, 2013, and at Plaintiffs’ farm property, there was a fire loss. State Farm insured the Plaintiffs’ property at the time of the loss and issued indemnity payment thereafter totaling more than $569,000. Following State Farm’s indemnity payments, the Plaintiffs submitted an additional inventory. In response to this final inventory, State Farm requested additional documentation to substantiate the claimed items. Among these items were over $300,000 worth of Snap-On tools. |
