Statement of Case:
Plaintiff Executor of the estate of Robert Froehlich claims malpractice arising from death of father Robert Froehlich, 81 on December 22, 2020 following colonoscopy at Kossuth Regional Health Center. Plaintiff fails that following the colonoscopy the nurse and CRNA failed to resuscitate Robert leading causing permanent brain damage and death a few days later. Robert was survived by 4 adult children. The jury awarded damages for past and future loss of consortium in the amounts of $100,000 and $75,000, respectively for a total verdict of $700,000.
