Statement of Case:
This case centers on a farrowing operation (a pig farm) located in Johnson County, Missouri (the “Operation”). Plaintiff Wolf Creek Acres, LLC owned the land and buildings for the Operation, and Plaintiff Wolf Creek Pork, LLC (jointly, “Plaintiffs”) owned the livestock. Defendant Integrity Builders & Supply, Inc. (“Integrity Builders”) constructed the facilities for the Operation. Defendant VMC Management Corp. (“VMC”) was the on-site manager for the
Operation.
Plaintiffs claim that VMC breached its contractual obligations by failing to properly manage the Operation and livestock, and that Integrity Builders breached its contractual obligations due to defects in its construction work. Plaintiffs claim all this resulted in damage to the facilities, loss of livestock, and loss of productivity.
